Works Fine
First the firearm: Remington7005R Stainless Gen. 2. (SKU 85201) This is an H-S Precision Stock (SKU PST012)
The Kwik Klip bottom Metal fitted with no stock modifications, just dropped in with the use of the spacer washers provided. Without the spacers the forward action screw did interfere with the bolt lug. Two magazines both accept 4 rounds and once inserted feed smoother  than the Remington factory hinged floorplate.
I have read on a number of websites, purchasers mentioned a less that durable finish which appears to have definite merit. Should that bother me at some time I'm sure I could seek out a business to refinish with some other, durable and lasting finish however I'm fine with a little wear since the rifle is to shoot not show. Also mentioned is the loose fit of the magazines. Again yes, it is a little on the rattle end of the scale but, and this is important, it feeds flawlessly so what does it matter? If it does to you I would think something as simple as a neoprene "O" ring from the plumbing dept. in your hardware store would be a fix. Again, I'm not too terribly concerned.
There is no use to compare this to some of those very popular and very expensive bottom metals that really hurt your wallet. This is budget friendly and works just like we all want it to. If you want to switch your hinged floorplate for a DBM I doubt that you will be disappointed. Look around on the web and you will find many comments from people that have used Kwik-Klip conversions for years and never experienced a failure to feed or any other problems. Use the $ you save to buy ammo instead.
